Another round of holiday presents

It's been a fine week of snow and ice storms up here but nothing to worry about. Everyone stays home so its been pretty easy to get around. I guess only the idiots such as myself decide to go to work on those days.

Well, I know some of you may have been putting off your holiday shopping so I've put together another list of wonderful presents you can order on-line (no waiting in stores like the rest of them suckers!)

Barbie USB drive - Give your daughter nightmares for years when you tear the head off your Barbie and slam the USB connector to your computer. Just plain creepy.

The Thing Ring - Finally a piece of jewelry with a purpose! It's a ring and a bottle opener! Who could want anymore to their life than that?

Cross dress for success - Got a friend who's a little confused? This book is for them. It gives the reader all the great tips necessary for successful cross dressing.

Quick trip to Reno

Sorry for the lag in posts. I had a very quick trip back to Reno this weekend for graduation. I was there for less than 48 hours and spent most of the time with family so sorry if I didn't call anyone back there. Hope you are all having a good time.

Today was the Holiday Potluck at work, which was a pretty amazing spread. There were probably close to 100 items to try in all. It was pretty sweet. Looks like I'm going to have to do some jogging this week.

I ran across a pretty funny Australian flash game, Life on Mars, that pretends to be a Martian gameshow, where you get to complete in one of 30 earth mini-games. Check it out!

Snow Day

Tuesday morning I woke up to a couple of inches of snow. Not enough snow to do much other than look nice. However, they are apparently not used to snow here so it was really dead driving to work. Not very exciting but that's the first snow storm of the year.

I stumbled across this video of a light show that's been burning across internet definitely worth checking out unless you're on dial-up. FYI, I'm pretty certain the music is by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Enjoy!

My Rant

wbush

I normally try to stay away from politics on this blog but after this week, I've absolutely had it and I really need to vent. I am so fucking fed up with the Bush Administration right now it's ridiculous. I guess my largest fault with them is that they are so determined to spread democracy in the middle east but they are one of the worst examples of it (point of clarification, the US a republic and not a democracy). Basically they've demonstrated that democracy consists of illegal business practices and contracts with your buddies, promoting imcompetent and unqualified friends to high posts in the government, allowing for a secret police force that works above the law, having no respect for freedom of the press, having done everything to possibly divide your country, and having no respect or willingness to listen to other's opinions. Obviously there was very little intelligent design involved in this administration. Good luck Iraq and fuck you very much Mr. Bush.
